  • "Client," "You," "Your" refers to the individual or organisation purchasing or receiving services from the Company.

  • "Services" refers to all training courses (e.g., Fire Warden Training, First Aid), risk assessments (e.g., Fire Risk Assessment, DSEAR), equipment supply (e.g., Fire Extinguishers, AEDs), and consultancy provided by the Company.

2. Service Booking and Confirmation

2.1 Quotation and Acceptance

All quotations provided by the Company are valid for thirty (30) days unless otherwise stated. A binding contract is formed when the Client accepts the quotation in writing (including email confirmation) and the Company issues a formal booking confirmation.

2.2 Payment Terms

Payment terms will be specified in the invoice or booking confirmation. For training services, payment is typically due [Insert Payment Term, e.g., 14 days] before the scheduled course date. For equipment and consultancy, payment may be required upon completion or as per the contract terms. The Company reserves the right to charge interest on late payments in accordance with UK law.

3. Training and Course Specific Terms

3.1 Attendance and Certification

Attendance is mandatory for the full duration of a course to receive certification. Certifications are granted subject to successful completion of all course requirements, including practical and written assessments (where applicable). The Company reserves the right to withhold certification if the Client's attendee does not meet the required standard.

3.2 Client Responsibilities for On-Site Training

For training conducted on the Client's premises:

  • The Client must ensure a suitable, clean, and appropriately sized venue with adequate light, heating, and ventilation is available.

  • The Client is responsible for ensuring the required number of attendees are present and ready at the agreed start time. Delays caused by the Client may result in the shortening of the course content.

4. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

4.1 Cancellation by the Client

  • More than 14 Working Days Notice: A full refund or rescheduling without penalty will be offered.

  • 7 to 14 Working Days Notice: 50% of the total service fee will be retained by the Company, or a 25% fee will be charged for rescheduling.

  • Less than 7 Working Days Notice: The full service fee is payable and non-refundable.

4.2 Cancellation by the Company

The Company reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a service due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., trainer illness, major events). In such cases, the Client will be offered an alternative date or a full refund. The Company will not be liable for any additional costs incurred by the Client due to cancellation (e.g., lost wages, travel costs).

5. Equipment Supply (Fire Extinguishers, AEDs, etc.)

5.1 Supply and Title

Full payment is required for all equipment before or upon delivery. Legal title to the equipment passes to the Client only upon receipt of full payment.

5.2 Servicing and Maintenance

All fire safety equipment (including extinguishers and AEDs) must be maintained and serviced annually in accordance with relevant British Standards (e.g., BS 5306) and manufacturer guidelines. It is the Client's sole responsibility to ensure annual servicing is carried out by a competent person.

6. Liability and Indemnity

6.1 Limitation of Liability

The Company's total liability to the Client, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise, shall be limited to the value of the fees paid by the Client for the specific Services giving rise to the claim. The Company shall not be liable for any indirect, special, or consequential loss, including loss of profit or business interruption.

6.2 Risk Assessments and Advice

Our advice, consultancy, and risk assessments (including Fire Risk Assessments and DSEAR Assessments) are based on conditions observed at the time of the visit. The Client remains responsible for implementing all recommendations and ensuring ongoing safety compliance.

7. Data Protection and Privacy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. All personal data collected during the booking process or course attendance will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). 8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
